Jose Molina

As a native Texan, Jose is no stranger to the DFW metroplex or the southern part of the state.  Jose was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in the suburb of Grand Prairie.  After high school, Jose ventured off to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.  As fate would have it, Jose was inspired to enter the world of banking and finance while on a trip to Chicago with his College of Business Finance Club.  Jose says, “I was fortunate enough to visit the trading floor at the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago during this college trip”. This experience solidified Jose’s career path in the banking and finance industry.  

After college, Jose began his career in banking and finance, where he resided and worked in San Antonio, Texas for 10 years. He began his career in the analytics department at a small Broker/Dealer where his role required him to learn all facets of the securities markets and various investment products but mainly specializing in fixed income. Though he’s moved back to the DFW area since, Jose still visits San Antonio frequently to spend time with his brother, sister-in-law, and his two nephews. His free time is filled with his love for daily exercise, cheering for the New York Knicks, watching MMA, learning Jiu Jitsu, reading, and gaming online with his family and friends.

Since returning to the DFW area, Jose has earned his FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations and served in various areas within the financial industry that include fixed income portfolio analysis and attribution analysis and settlements.  These various roles have served Jose well and have allowed him to expand his knowledge of the financial sector and management skills.  Jose is proud to say that all these life and career experiences have made him well suited to serve successfully in his role as Registered Sales Assistant, here at Tack Advisors.
